Annabelle Comes Home Video Features The Real-Life Warrens

Theres nothing more terrifying than seeing the words based on a true story alongside a horror flick. In recent years, James Wan has assembled an entire Conjuring universe based around the real investigations of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. The couple, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, will soon be returning to the big screen in the spinoff Annabelle Comes Home, a haunting tale that involves a possessed doll targeting their daughter, Judy.

A new featurette from Warner Bros has the Warrens daughter Judy, all grown-up and still visibly shaken up by the thought of Annabelle. Take a look:

Theres something exciting and real scary about seeing the people being depicted in a horror movie talking about it. This video has the real Judy talking about the memory of her parents as a child and the room of haunted objects Annabelle Comes Home will explore. She said she didnt know of their profession as a kid, but Ed would always go off to investigate cases and bring back objects in a room that she was not to be opened under any circumstances.

With the two previous movies centered on the haunted doll exploring its origins, it finds its way into the hands of the Warrens in Annabelle Comes Home, who lock it up in their artifact room. A young Judy (played by McKenna Grace) and her friends are targeted when her babysitter goes into the room and Annabelle is let out.

The movie seems loosely based on the Warrens life, but Judy does have memories of Annabelle specifically, talking about how sometimes her arms or legs have moved while behind that glass. She talks about how frightened she was of it and her parents would tell her not to look it in the eyes, and she still abides by this advice to this day.

Judys husband, Tony Spera, also recalled that Annabelle is likely the most haunted object in the Warrens possession. Ed told him this based on the havoc that it caused people. Anyone getting chills yet?

We unfortunately cant get a fact check from Ed and Lorraine Warren, since theyve both passed. Lorraine died just two months ago at 92 after her husband passed back in 2009. Lorraine did get to become a consultant on a few of the Conjuring films though and see some of her cases shock and thrill audiences on the big screen.

The Conjuring franchise is a hugely popular series that has made over $1.5 billion worldwide between five films. Annabelle Comes Home is expected to have a solid opening weekend at around $40 million when it hits theaters on June 26.

We're only a week away from Creed II hitting theaters, which means some of you reading, if you haven't already, will re-watch 2015's Creed to refresh your memory on what happened there. Michael B. Jordan doesn't have to do that; he lived through it. But along with having fond memories of shooting Creed, Jordan also has access to behind-the-scenes videos of the creative process, like the one below showing him getting some boxing practice in with Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone.

Just because Rocky Balboa has been retired from boxing since the events of Rocky V (excluding his brief return in Rocky Balboa) doesn't mean that he still can't practice a little while coaching Adonis Creed. There's a lot of different ways to prepare for boxing matches, and going a few rounds on the speed bag is one of them. Adonis does this several times during Creed, but there's a particularly cool moment during one of the training montages where we see Adonis and Rocky both pummeling their speed bags at once. This is them practicing that scene, and you can watch the final version below.

As Michael B. Jordan notes in his Instagram post, he came across this video while going through his phone's archives, and having watched the Rocky movies growing up and mimicked the boxing matches, getting to hit the speed bag with Sylvester Stallone was "surreal." Even better, he got to do it a second time with Creed II. Jordan's acted in various cool projects, but getting to work alongside Stallone in the Creed movies helps him feel the same way he did when he watched Rocky in action as a kid.

Having already followed in his late father's footsteps and gotten a little boxing experience on his own, Adonis Creed (previously Johnson) headed to Philadelphia early into the first Creed movie to seek Rocky Balboa's help in going pro after quitting his job and failing to get into the Delphi Boxing Academy. With Rocky's help, and due to his true parentage being leaked to the press, Adonis ended up facing off against "Pretty" Ricky Conlan. Just like how Rocky lost his first bout with Apollo Creed four decades earlier, Adonis lost against Conlan, but it didn't matter, because he had a bright future in boxing ahead of him.

Creed II picks up with Adonis several years later, where he'll face off against Viktor Drago, son of Ivan Drago, the man who famously killed Apollo Creed in Rocky IV. Adonis hopes he can use this match to finally avenge his father, whereas Ivan hopes to use his son to reclaim the glory he lost when Rocky beat him. Since Rocky appears to be doing better than he was in the latter half of Creed, fingers crossed we get to see him briefly partake in some training with Adonis again.

Adam Pally Reveals The Fate Of His Iron Man 3 Character After Avengers: Infinity War

SPOILER WARNING: The following article contains massive spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War**. If you have not yet seen the film, please bookmark this page, and return after your screening!**In the wake of Avengers: Infinity War, half of the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are dead -- and while we know about some of the survivors and departures, there are hundreds if not thousands of fates currently unknown. This includes individuals like Gary, the cameraman played by Adam Pally who assists Tony Stark in Iron Man 3... and while Avengers 4 may not tell us what happened to him, we now have answers directly from the actor:

I do think that Gary's survived the snap. And that's what I've been pitching to Marvel - is that there's no one left. Why not have Gary don that Iron Man costume? Robert [Downey Jr.] has not called me back. Neither has Joe and Anthony Russo, but I'm not discouraged.

We still have a few months left to wait in order to learn about the full fallout from Avengers: Infinity War, but I'm doing legwork trying to find answers between now and then. I had this in mind when I sat down with Adam Pally and Vanessa Hudgens this past weekend during the Los Angeles press junket for Dog Days, and did what I could to learn as much as possible. At the end of my interview I asked Adam Pally about Gary's status post-snap, and he revealed the answer, noting that not only is the guy doing well, but that he's even angling for superhero status now that half of the Avengers are dead.

For those that don't remember, Adam Pally's Gary the cameraman is introduced toward the end of the second act of Iron Man 3, operating a news van outside a beauty pageant. He is an obsessive Tony Stark fan -- going as far as to model his look after the guy and even get a tattoo of his face -- so he is naturally beside himself when he discovers that Tony has high-jacked his equipment. Rather than being upset, he instead does everything he can to help, and winds up leading Iron Man to Miami where the hero has his showdown with Aldrich Killian a.k.a. The Mandarin (Guy Pierce). We haven't seen him since, but his apparently wasn't one of the lives taken when Thanos snapped his fingers with the fully-loaded Infinity Gauntlet at the end of Avengers: Infinity War.

While it sounds like Adam Pally might not be one of the many actors who will ultimately populate the screen in Avengers 4, one never knows what may happen -- especially since Pally has history with Joe and Anthony Russo, who produced his sitcom Happy Endings. We'll just have to wait and find out, and in the meantime take the actor at his word that Gary survived.
